meeting started at 7:03pm<span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The June meeting minutes were approved and seconded.<span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Allen<span> </span>went over the
presidential release. The highlights included that the President had a birthday
and that the President addressed current issues with Uber. Uber is being
proactive on this issue and has held their own meetings to address rideshare
denials due to guide dogs.<span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Shara briefly talked about the 2024 state convention which
may be held at a new venue. The convention will most likely be held in February
or March.<span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">There was a brief discussion about the 2023 national convention.
There were 64 attendees from the MA affiliate. Shirley advised that next year's
convention will be held in Orlando, FL.<span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">For the September meeting, Sandra will go over the
presidential release. Shirley will recite the NFB pledge.<span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Shirley would like<span>
</span>the addresses of new members who joined within the past five years and
paid up on dues. Please let Shirley or Liz know if you never received a welcome
packet from the national office.<span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Inky proposed to have a chapter get together at his place
Saturday 8/26 if anyone is interested.<span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Justin updated us on the parents' rights bill and shared a
personal story of how he became involved with this cause.<span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Paul Martinez, the affiliate President from Florida, was our
special guest speaker. He discussed how we could grow the chapter and shared
fun ways to meet in person.<span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The meeting adjourned at 8:42PM.<span></span></p>
