We are a team of researchers from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh working to develop an app to assist blind people and those with low vision with interior navigation and wayfinding. We need your help to identify the right features and functionality to include in our new app. <o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">We are at a crucial phase in our work, and we invite you to take part in a survey to help us tailor the app to your needs and preferences. This survey will ask you about your current use of smartphones and apps designed to assist people with low vision, as well as your strategies for navigating unfamiliar indoor environments. Your feedback on desirable smartphone features and your preferred methods of interaction with our app will be invaluable. <o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">Please note that your participation in this research is entirely voluntary. By conducting this research, we hope to learn the features most important to the successful implementation of the app. You are being asked to participate because you have a visual impairment and may be able to provide us with important feedback regarding our design and implementation.
