<div dir="auto">Hello all,</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I love the idea of supporting a chapter auction basket for convention. To keep the theme of our recent meeting, I think it could be very attractive to do a technology themed basket where the big ticket item would be a pair of Rayband Meta smart glasses.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">This would mean that the starting valuation of the basket would be quite high, but I am confident that it wil auction off for a very competitive price. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I wonder if the Rayband store in Cambridge would even offer a discount or donation since it is for the purpose of raising funds for the NFB. I hope this email finds you well. As we prepare for the upcoming state convention, we have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the auction in a new way.<br>

This year, instead of having an auction chairperson gather items, each chapter and division is asked to contribute a basket or significant item for the auction. I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions on what our chapter could give.<br>

Here are a few considerations to guide your input:<br>
• Should we create a themed basket (e.g., coffee, relaxation, or local favorites)?<br>
• Is there a significant item or experience we could contribute (e.g., gift cards, tickets, or technology)?<br>
• Would you like to pool resources to purchase or create something meaningful?<br>
<br>
It is important to get input as soon as possible so that we can ask for donations in a timely manner, as I don’t feel, we will have time discussing this at our February meeting. Your input will help us represent our chapter in a way that truly reflects our values and creativity.<br>

Let’s work together to make our contribution to the auction both impactful and memorable.<br>
