The people who were in attendance were Ellen Bartelt, Jen Bows, youm Wen Ly, Hai Wen Ly, and Stephanie Valdes.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>House Keeping:<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>The meeting minutes from May were found in the parent google drive. Members agreed to look through the notes, and they will be voted on during the July meeting. Hai shared the google drive link with Ellen. Hai, Ellen, and Kobina will set up a time to discuss the division’s treasury. The members discussed the times for meetings. The meetings are currently taking place on the second Thursday of the month at 6:00 P.m. There had been discussion about pushing the meeting time to seven. The members decided to keep the meetings at 6 for right now. This can be changed in future meetings.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>IEP Training:<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>Stephanie attended an Iep training at the national office. As part of her training, she has to have a seminar in Mass sometime this year. She is waiting to receive the materials from the national office. There was discussion about having a parent training during our upcoming state convention. There was also discussion about having a small parent tract during future BELL programs.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>Parent Bill:<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>The parent division has signed a parent bill for Mass. Stephanie sent the bill to Kyra so she could look at it. When we had our day at the Capital the parent bill was discussed with congress members. We hope to hear the outcome of the bill soon.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>BELL Program:<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>The BELL program will take place from August 4 to 15. The paperwork has been emailed to the volunteers helping with this year’s BELL program. We currently have four, maybe five students who signed up for the BELL Program. We are having a raffle at the Mass table during national convention for the BELL program. We have three prizes we are raffling off. They are a glam cane, a basket of skin care products from Just Justine, and a 100-dollar gift card from Home Cheep.
