Hello all,
 
The next meeting of the At-Large chapter takes place on Tuesday, December
20. The National President's Message starts at 7:30 followed by the meeting
at 8 pm. Please be ready to tell us your favorite Christmas holiday food,
and give us a recipe if you can. It is always fun to hear about Christmas
foods. The great thing about this is that there will be no calories at this
meeting. Remember, the call-in number is 641-715-3272. The access code is
720-125. Be sure to attend so that we may exchange best wishes for a happy
holiday season. Below are the minutes for the November meeting.

At Large Chapter Meeting Minutes for November 15, 2016
7:30 Presidential Release was played 
Meeting was started at 8 PM by Marguerite Woods, president 
Approximately 15 members in attendance 
 
Talking about the 50th state convention member's experiences and how they
enjoyed the convention 
Next year's state convention will be at Towson, Maryland November 10th
through 12th 2017.
Treasury Report given by Sharon 
$300 for Baltimore Movie Fund Raiser
$42 for 50/50 done during Baltimore Movie Fund Raiser 
$130 for Hagerstown Movie Fund Raiser 
$75 for Left over snacks sold during state convention
 
Total $551 
Robo call expense $256 
Grand Total in the treasury is $295
 
Please pay next year's dues (2017) to Sharon from November to February and
dues are $5 
2 new newspapers from Maryland added to Newsline 
They are:  the Capital Gazette which covers Annapolis and other Anne Arundel
County cities and towns and much of the General Assembly work when it is in
session. The second newspaper, Herald-Mail covers Hagerstown and additional
cities and towns in Washington County.
 
Marguerite went to the social security office on the behalf of NFB MD.
Speaking to many people there.  
Steve told us about an accessible technology story using the MVA website and
the App Tap Tap C 
Smithsonian African Museum has auditory narration 
Meeting ended at 9 PM.
