[MD-AtLarge] Special Guest at April 17th meeting

Hello all,

 

I am writing to you early to make sure you save the date and get on the call
on April 17th.  Our special guest will be Ann Cunningham.  Ann is a blind
artist.  There are not too many blind people that can do art, but more and
more people are beginning to try it.  Perhaps you can be one of them.

At Large Chapter Meeting Minutes for March 20, 2018.

Presidential Release was played at 7:30 PM. 

Meeting was started at 8 PM by Marguerite Woods, President. 

Approximately 20 members on the call. 

 

Sharon spoke about the code of conduct policy.

She talked about the May raffle for the NFB of Maryland.

She talked about the Tactile exhibit called "The Marines and Tet" Exhibit at
the Newseum museum in Washington DC.  This exhibit runs until July 8, 2018. 

 

Dues are due by April 15th and they are $5. 

 

Tonight's guest was Charlotte Glass with Envision America.

Talked about how they partner with pharmacy's to provide scrip talk,
discussed what script talk does, and demonstrated script talk.

She also stated that they Work with many mail order companies.
