Hello all,

The next meeting of the NFBMD At-Large chapter will be on Tuesday September
21. The National President's message begins at 7:30 followed by the meeting
from 8 to 9 PM. At this meeting, you will hear from our National
Representative Julie Deden and her husband Dan Burke. This is a great
preview to meeting them in person at our State Convention November 12, 13,
and 14. Learn their story and why they love going to Conventions.

At Large Chapter Meeting Minutes for August 17, 2021



The Presidential Release was started at 7:30 PM.

The meeting was started at 8:00 PM by Marguerite Woods, President.

There were approximately 15 members on the call.

Charles led Eddie in the NFB pledge.

We shared our thoughts about the National Convention.

Celebrated the July and August Birthdays.



Marguerite announced that the Board is working on a fundraiser for the
month of October.



Sharon gave an update on the post office being late delivering materials
from the Library for the Blind.



Tonight’s guest speaker is Marlyn Taylor. She is the diversity and
conclusion manager with the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Maryland
Chapter. She discussed programing that the Alzheimer’s Association conducts
every day to help caregivers and people dealing with this disease.
