[MD-AtLarge] Meeting reminder and minutes

Hello all,
Happy New Year!  The next meeting NFBMD At-Large Chapter will be on
Tuesday, January 18.  The National President's message begins at 7:30
followed by the meeting from 8:00pm-9:00pm.  We will be discussing our
plans for Annapolis and Washington and more.  Remember the call in number
is 339-209-4083.  Don't miss the first meeting of the year.

NFBMD At Large Chapter Meeting Minutes for December 21, 2021



The Presidential Release was played at 7:30 PM.

The meeting was started at 8:00 PM by Marguerite Woods, President.

The round robin took place. Everyone announced themselves and told their
favorite holiday or winter color.

There were approximately 15 members on the call.

Brawyn gave the Nominating Committee Report. The Nominating Committee was
Dorothy, Alice, and Brawyn. A motion was made and seconded to accept the
Nominating Committee Report. The motion was approved.

Elections took place and the following members were elected to the
following positions:

Marguerite Woods, President

Sondra Burchette, Vice President

Danielle Earl, Secretary

Sharon Maneki, Treasurer

Judy Nelson, Board Member

Daniel Johnson, Board Member



The Treasurer’s report was discussed, and the official report will be read
at January’s meeting. The amount raised from the movie fund raiser was
$587.51 consisting of $367.51 in PayPal and $220 in checks.

Sharon went over who has paid dues for 2022. Yearly dues cost $5, and a
lifetime membership costs $125.

A membership ceremony took place for Debbie Carroll. A motion was made and
seconded to accept Debbie as a member of the At Large Chapter. The motion
was approved.

December birthdays were celebrated. Members who have birthdays in December
are Michelle, Martha, and Chris.

We ended the meeting by listening to ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas poem
read by Dr. Kenneth Jernigan.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:00pm
