Federation Family,

I'm sorry to share that Imani Graham passed away unexpectedly on April 5,
2024 from complications of pneumonia. Imani was a founding member of the
NFB of Maryland's TLC Chapter. Imani was 42, and she leaves behind her
17-year-old daughter, Aria, as well as many who loved her.

Many of you may also know that Imani was the long-time Assistant Director of
the Image Center for People with Disabilities, and following Mike Bullis'
retirement last month, Imani became Image Center's Executive Director. A
number of us were able to spend some time with her recently at the NFB of
Maryland State Convention, and her passing is heart-breaking. She leaves a
tremendous legacy, as she's changed the lives of thousands of people with
disabilities in the State of Maryland.

Information about arrangements is below:

Pronouns: she, her, hers

The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland knows that blindness is not
the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back
