[MD-AtLarge] Meeting Reminder and Minutes

Hello All,
Since this is a new year, we are having a new start time for our meeting,
which is 7:45pm. We are doing this to accommodate a brief discussion of the
national president's message. We will be talking about Annapolis,
Washington Seminar, the state convention, and more. Don't miss it. Read
below to see what happened in December.
NFBMD At Large Chapter Meeting Minutes for December 17, 2024
The Presidential Release was played at 7:35 PM.
>From 7:47 PM to 8:00 PM a discussion took place about the Presidential
Release.
The Meeting was started at 8:00 PM by Marguerite Woods, President.
The round robin took place. Everyone announced themselves, stated where
they are in the state, and asked the question will you make a commitment to
get out the word about the NFB?
There are approximately 20 members on the call tonight.
The nominating report was given by Don, the chairperson. Alice and Harvey
were part of the committee. There was a motion to accept the Nominating
Committee Report. It was seconded and approved. Elections occurred and
listed below are the officers and board members that were elected.
President: Marguerite Woods
Vice President: Sondra Burchette
Secretary: Danielle Earl
Treasurer: Sharon Maneki
Board Member 1: Judy Nelson
Board Member 2: Brawyn Evans
Please pay your dues to Sharon. You can mail a check to her or pay online
using the link on the NFBMD website.
Tonight, David became a member of the NFBMD At Large Chapter. Marguerite
led David in the NFB pledge.
Tonight’s guest speaker is Tom Paige. He is a member of the national board.
He is the state president of Kansas. He owns his own recording studio. He
is a musician and travels around. He enables people to reach their dreams.
The meeting adjourned at 9:02 PM.
