Hello all,
There will not be a meeting of the At Large chapter in July because of the
National Convention. However, we do have an opportunity to attend the Peale
museum to look at sculptures and other artifacts. This was an exhibit put
together by Dr. Cheryl Fogle-Hatch and it is designed to give blind people
the enhanced experience of touching the exhibits. For those of you who
remember, Cheryl talked to us about her plans for the exhibit in May, so
check it out. The date is Monday, July 27th at 11am. Transportation is on
your own. If you wish to attend, call Marguerite Woods at 443-271-1668 so
we can include you in the group count.

The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland knows that blindness is
not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise
the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
