The Judge ruled in her favor.<u></u><u></u></span></p><p style="margin-left:0in;text-indent:0in"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p style="margin-left:0in;text-indent:0in"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Sharon Maneki gave us an update on the <a name="m_1731916685485338110_OLE_LINK8"></a><a name="m_1731916685485338110_OLE_LINK7">bill and case regarding rights of blind parents in custody disputes</a>.<u></u><u></u></span></p><p style="margin-left:0in;text-indent:0in"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p style="margin-left:0in;text-indent:0in"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">At last month’s meeting they talked about doing something differently and during this meeting a few members shared something that they did out of their comfort zone. <u></u><u></u></span></p><p style="margin-left:0in;text-indent:0in"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><u></u> <u></u></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">At this meeting there were two guest speakers from the Baltimore Sheriff’s Office, Major Harper and Captain Cruise, to give guidelines on safety. They spoke on the following topics: buddy system, purses, people at your door, local police security survey, Smoke detectors, fire safety, cooking habits & safety, heat safety, preventing falls, outdoor home safety, stairwell and stair safety, and sign up for direct deposit.
