<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Presidential Release was played at 7:30 PM <span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The meeting was started at 8:00 PM by <span style="line-height:107%">Marguerite
</span>Woods, President. <span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Round robin took place with members introducing themselves,
stating their birthday, and saying what type of gift they like to give someone
for their birthday.<span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">20 members on the call <span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Charles led us in the NFB pledge. <span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ronza talked about the NFB National Convention and about the
code of conduct. <span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Tonight’s guest speakers are Latonya Phipps, Dezman Jackson,
and Millie <span>Rivera. They
spoke about 3 different sections in the code of conduct which are Diversity,
Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment, and section 8. They also spoke about
how they found the NFB and why they stayed. Latonya and Millie were NFB scholarship
winners and Dezman learned about the NFB through the internet and fell in love
with their philosophy. Millie stated that she has become a confident competent
blind woman with the help of the NFB and that is why she stayed. Dezman stated that
the philosophy and being able to help and give back to other blind individuals
is why he continues to be part of the NFB. <span></span></span></p>
