Dear NFB Members and Friends,
I wanted to make you aware that the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company in downtown Baltimore is offering audio description for the remaining two performances in its 2025-2026 season. (See the email below for details.)
I went to see their last two performances and requested audio description. That’s probably why they decided to go ahead and offer this service now.
They use the Live Voice App to deliver live audio description. If you don’t have a smart phone, you might want to reach out to the theater to see if they have a device you can use during the performance.
Please help spread the word, so that those interested in enjoying audio described live theater hear about this latest venue. I hope that our community will support the Chesapeake Shakespeare company, as they start offering audio description more regularly.
Warmly,
Ellen
