[Md-sligo] Hearing in Baltimore

There will be a hearing in Baltimore on the National Bar Examiners case on
Tuesday, July 13.  We are looking for people to go if anyone can go.  The
case involves allowing law students who want to take the bar exam to take it
in their preferred format.

 

I will not be able to go because I want to attend something on Tuesday
evening about voter registration drives, which might be something we should
do.

 

The hearing begins at 2:15 and may last till 6:00.  It is at the Federal
courthouse, 101 West Lombard Street, Baltimore.  You should get there at
least an hour early because you will have to go through security and there
will be a line.  You should also know that it is difficult to predict how
much standing and walking there will be, and you can't get up and walk out
in the middle of a hearing.  I have not seen the list of forbidden items,
but they usually include cellphones and electronic devices.
