[Md-sligo] Chapter events

The meeting this month will be at the Whiteoak Library, 11701 New Hampshire Avenue, beginning at 1:30.

Our scholarship buffet and auction will be on Saturday, October 16.

We will have a bake sale on Saturday, September 25, at the Giant at 12051 Rockville Pike.

We have some things to celebrate.  We will have a party at the chapter meeting for Nesma Aly, who participated in the Braille Readers Are Leaders contest this year.  

Also, one of our state scholarship winners, Joanna Linn, is from our area.  I hope you can meet her at the chapter meeting or at the convention.
