Subject: Using voice commands to manage email and texting -- Voice Assist -- Saturday, July 23 at Rockville Library

This month's Saturday Adaptive Technology Session presents a possible alternative to a smart phone. Voice Assist is a subscription service that provides hands-free texting and other services for regular and cell phones. Voice Assist <http://www.voiceassist.com/homeform.aspx> will be the focus of a presentation and demonstration by Carl Schmitt, at the Rockville Memorial Library on Saturday, July 23 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The Voice Assist system works through any phone by voice command to:

- send and receive email

- find sent or received emails

- check a calendar

- get travel directions

- locate people and places

And more!

Presentation, demonstration and some hands-on experience. Free and open to the public, no registration is required. For more information, and to request ADA accommodations (5 working days in advance), call 240-777-0001.

Saturday, July 23, 1 - 3 p.m.

21 Maryland Ave., Rockville 20852
