LOW-TECH GADGETS FOR LOW VISION

Saturday, March 26

1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Rockville Memorial Library, in the first floor meeting room

Are you having a hard time reading a menu, jotting down a phone number, pushing the microwave button, finding the computer cursor?

Come to a discussion with hands-on examples of simple ways to help you keep on doing what you want to do. Try out some magnifiers, playing cards, pens, etc. Hear about features built into Windows XP that make your computer display easier to see. And bring your own gadgets and techniques to show and share!!

Rockville Memorial Library is located at 21 Maryland Ave., on Rockville Town Square. It has some street parking and a parking garage across Maryland Ave. ($1 all Saturday). For more information, call Jeanie Dunnington at 240-696-1035, or the library at 240-777-0001.

This is one of the monthly Saturday Adaptive Technology Sessions, sponsored by the Disability Resource Center Library Advisory Committee of Montgomery County Public Libraries.
