The Maryland Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped has a book club that meets at noon on the second Saturday of each month, and fortunately (we don't have a "bus to Baltimore" every month) you can participate by conference call.  They have wonderful book selections for discussion (see below for dates, titles and RC/DB numbers).  If you're a Talking Book user and would like to participate, you request or download the book as usual, then reserve a place for the conference call by calling 1-800-964-9209, and ask for Tyson Fogel.  Tyson will give you the 800# to call and the participant pass code.  If you're not in the Talking Book program, call the 800 number above if you're interested.
