[Md-sligo] Chapter events

The chapter meeting is this Saturday, April 14, at 11701 New Hampshire Avenue, beginning at 1:30.  Melissa Riccobono, president of the NFB of Maryland, will be with us.  Also, we will be entertained with a reading by two of our Braille Rocks students, Steve Lin and Nesma Aly.

We have no more dark chocolate candy.  We have several boxes of plain milk chocolate and peanut brittle.  Please let us know what you want.

Also, this is the last meeting to pick up raffle tickets.  They cost $5 each.  The winner gets $50 for a number drawn on a weekday and $100 for a number drawn on a Saturday.

MV Transportation, the contractor for MetroAccess, is planning a party for all of its users on April 28 before the National Harbor chapter meeting, at 10201 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Bowie, at noon.  They will have food and a drawing for concert tickets (I don't know what concert.)
