Subject: [Md-sligo] Student seminar, picket, and picnic

The student seminar will be this Saturday, August 18, at the Bethesda
Regional Services Center, 4805 Edgemoor Lane, room A.  The cost is $5, which
includes lunch, and the times are from 9:30 to 4:30.  Please let me know if
you want to come.

 

On August 25, we will be picketing the Goodwill store in Gaithersburg, and
we will have the chapter picnic afterward.  We will have a car available to
store food while we picket, although you can join us at the picnic at 2:00
if you are not able to picket.  The address for the store is 619 South
Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg, 20877.  You should meet us on the sidewalk
that adjoins 355 (South Frederick Road) and not right outside the store.  We
will have signs and handouts.

 

Barbara's address, where the picnic will be held, is 12109 Bayswater Road,
Gaithersburg 20878.  Please let us know what you will bring.

 

We have had a busy few weeks, and I appreciate the people who helped make
BELL a success, by being there and providing us with some of the items we
needed.  I forgot last time to thank Terry for making slate cases for all of
the students.
