[Md-sligo] Chapter meeting, Annapolis, and othernews

The chapter meeting is this Saturday, January 14, at the Whiteoak Library, 11701 New Hampshire Avenue.

We will be going to Annapolis on Thursday, January 19.  I want to know who is going.  We will be there all day and have an evening meal at Buddy's.  You must bring money for lunch, and dinner if you are able.  The affiliate will pay for your dinner if necessary.  We will be leaving from Glenmont or New Carrollton at 7:15 a.m.

Our Annapolis issues this year are (1) treating the internet as a place of business in issues of public access; and (2) the right of people with disabilities and minorities to sue discriminatory businesses.

Lloyd Rasmussen is bringing a thumb drive with the software upgrade for the NLS player.  If you have an NLS player that needs to be upgraded, bring it.  If you aren't sure whether you need the upgrade, bring your player anyhow.
