[Md-sligo] Chapter meeting and other news

The meeting this month will be held at the Long Branch Library, 8800 Garland Avenue, at 1:30.

The crab feast will be on Friday, August 3, at Columbus Garden in Baltimore.  We will work out ransportation.  If you want me to send money for you, please bring your $50 on Saturday.  The price is $55 if you pay at the door.

Kimoy's husband Ben is having knee and shoulder surgery.  The fact that he is having them close together is an indication of how muc pain he is in.  We wish him well.

We are looking for a picnic locatioin.  If anyone knows of a park or an outdoor location where there is food for purchase, that would be something different.  We will be having our picnic on the third Saturday in August because we are planning a state board meeting the second Saturday.  The state board meeting will be in the vicinity of the Tri-County chapter, our newest chapter.  Transportation is an issue, but we would all like to meet this chapter, so I will see what we can work out if people want to go.

We are working on the BELL program.  I will be asking which days people want to work, and if people want to come to read a story.  We are also looking for braillers to use for the two weeks.  They must be your spare or one you can live without for two weeks.
