Subject: Free bus to LBPH celebration on Saturday, October 27

 

The Disability Resource Center of Montgomery County Public Libraries
will provide a bus to the October 27 celebration at the Maryland State
Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped! The event will honor
both the 20th anniversary of the building at 415 Park Ave. in Baltimore
and its volunteers. Karen Keninger, the new director of the national
library services, is a featured speaker. The event is from 10 a.m. to 1
p.m. The bus will leave Rockville Metro Station, West side kiss-and-ride
area at 8:45 a.m. and will leave Forest Glen Metro station parking lot
at 9:15 a.m.; it will leave Baltimore at 1:15. Anyone interested having
a seat on the bus must contact Francie Gilman at 240-777-0959 by 5 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 25. If you have your own transportation, please RSVP to
the LBPH at 1-800-964-9209.
