The festival is on September 22 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. We will need
to be there at least 30 minutes before the event. Please let Debbie or
me know if you could assist. I do not need too many but two will be
fine. Then we can take turns to walk around and taste international

Yasmin has got us a table at an Islamic festival in Gaithersburg where
we can play braille games and sell small baked goods such as cookies,
brownies, cupcakes or small loaves of bread.  She doesn't believe that
big cakes are good for this event because people will be looking for
snacks.  This will be a small fundraiser but hopefully an occasion to be
seen by people we don't usually meet.

 

The scholarship dinner is October 27.  Pleaase be thinking about auction
items and people to invite.

 

The state convention is November 9-11 at the Doubletree in Annapolis.
The bus will cost $40, the banquet will cost $35, senior and parent
lunches will be $16;  registration will be $15.

See you on Saturday.
