You are receiving this email notice because you were identified as a key contact person at your organization to share the following information with other staff members and constituents that may be affected. 
 
Metro will perform major track work over this weekend, March 1-3, 2013. The work will begin at 10 p.m. Friday and continue through system closing on Sunday.
 
RED LINE MAJOR TRACK WORK
Free shuttle buses will replace Red Line trains between the NoMa-Gallaudet U and Takoma stations. Three stations will be closed: Rhode Island Ave, Brookland-CUA and Fort Totten. Customers traveling through the work zone should build an extra 40 minutes into their travel plans. Customers can use Green Line trains between Fort Totten and Gallery Place to avoid the work zone.
 
BLUE/YELLOW LINE MAJOR TRACK WORK
Free shuttle buses will replace Blue/Yellow Line trains between the Crystal City and Braddock Road stations. Reagan National Airport Metrorail station will be closed. Customers traveling through the work zone should build an extra 15 minutes into their travel plans.

ORANGE LINE SINGLE TRACKING 
Trains will single track between two work zones: between East Falls Church and West Falls Church, and between Stadium-Armory and Cheverly. Customers traveling either work zone should build an extra 15 minutes into their travel plans.
