Seniors are starting to call about Farmers Market Coupons.

The following information can be given to callers:

 

Distribution is Tuesday, July 9 at 10 am. Seniors are given numbers in
advance, so they should plan to arrive earlier to get a number. Once the
numbers are gone, there are no more coupon books for distribution.

 

There will be no second distribution of coupons this summer.

 

We only can accommodate 650 seniors this year, down by 50 from 2012 due
to sequestration.

 

The distribution sites are the same as last year: Waverly, Elizabeth
House, Rockville SC, Gaithersburg SC, Long Branch CC, Holiday Park SC.

 

Seniors must be low income (to be defined), 60 or over, and live in
Montgomery County.
