Hi all,

Don't forget about collecting door prizes for the state convention. Each
chapter has been requested to bring 10, but Sligo should probably bring a
few more, since some of the chapters around the state are smaller than ours.
If the prizes you bring are small, I will collect them on the bus and get
them to Darlene. If they are too big to carry easily, you will have to get
them to her at the Board meeting or during the convention. They don't have
to be expensive.  My rule of thumb is:  bring something you would like to
win. Let me know if you have something to contribute, since I will be going
on the hunt for prizes soon.

Hi Yasmin,
I will be in on the planning.  I think that it is a great idea.  I can not
say if I will be available to help on the day because of my internship hours
will increase in the spring but I will see.

	At our July meeting, we decided to have a diabetes seminar in spring
of 2014. We need to plan for this meeting and I need your help. We could
have a conference call to discuss the plans. I would like to know who will
be on the planning committee. Not everyone needs to be on the planning
committee but on the day of he event, we will need volunteers. 

	I hope that you will help out even if you did not help plan the
seminar. 

	The seminar will be in either on March 19, or March 26 from 9:30 am
to 3:00 pm. 

	I am trying my best to find a location accessible on Metro access.
Rider wood is one possible location. 

	Please let us know if you are interested in planning the event.
