If we pay the chapter, and the chapter pays us, those who contribute can get a tax write-off.  Shawn, can you make receipts for people who request them?

  Hi all,

  The answer to Yasmin's question is:  no, we have not paid the expenses for the diabetes seminar. That's because we haven't submitted the receipts to him. I will come up with a total by this weekend.     Also, we did purchase the 20 canes for Fred at a cost of $539.  I put the expense on our credit card.  I know several of us agreed to make donations toward the cost of the canes.

  We have taken in $1,970.00 in candy money thus far.  Our expenses for candy were $1,385.21 and our profit thus far is $584.79.

  We need to give the state affiliate it's share of our fundraiser very soon since the state is running real low on money and BELL is coming up.

  If anyone on the list is a member of the National Harbor chapter pass the word that if they are doing fundraisers they also need to share with the state.
