Great turn out! Sorry my Script Talk did not cooperate.  I am going to call and see if it should have a battery low, feature.  I charged it, last night and it is up and running again!
I told about my idea for labeling yarn, with the Pen Friend and might have found a new member for the NFB Krafters Korner.  I took down her contact imfo.
Since I am shacky, Cathy and I walked together, she carried the coffies and I carried grapes and cheese for her table.
Nice location.

Hi Sligo,
Just wanted to add to what Debbie said.  I heard three very positive comments about the presentation Virginia made.  One was from  Mary EllenThompson, who has had much trouble with her feet. I observed Virginia being very patient with somebody, showing him about portion control. A big thank you goes to Denise for getting a MetroAccess supervisor there.  It really helped.  Yasmin has already come up with a great idea for getting people from  one session to the next (if we ever do this again).  I am not in a hurry at the moment! We did it! Go Sligo!

Thanks to all of you who were at the seminar yesterday.  Thanks to Shawn, Barbara and Lloyd for marshaling and guiding.  Thanks to Terry for showing her equipment and letting everyone know that real blind people use this stuff.  Thanks to Judy and Yasmin for getting us the crowd we had.  Thanks to Yasmin for giving information to everyone, not just those from Montgomery County.  Thanks to Sondra for telling people about the NFB and introducing me to Ousmane.  I am sure I didn't see half the activity that went on, so if I missed you in this list, it's because I simply overlooked what you were doing.

Judy and Lloyd, please convey our thanks to Elizabeth for serving coffee, cleaning up, providing directions, guiding, and probably lots of other things I didn't see.

We all finished the day exhausted, and I hope that we can keep up with the contacts we made.  Our goal is to help the people we met live better and more independent lives as blind people.
