Let me echo Judy's sentaments! There were actually a total of 24 people on
the call. Judy, Sharon, and I don't count so to speak, but that means we had
21 people show up for an At Large meeting! Extremely exciting!
Let's keep up the fantastic work.

Good morning all,

Just wanted to start the day with some encouraging news! At our reformation
of our chapter at large on Tuesday, there were approximately 15 people on
the call that cannot attend chapter meetings because there is no chapter in
their area. I was very encouraged.  There were both younger and older
people. Of course, the key is to continue to follow up.  The people I called
showed up, which was also encouraging.  We will be calling people in Sligo
soon, so get ready!let's go build the Federation!

Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind, Knowlogy, and Discover Technologies
invite you to a Lunch and Learn Info Session where we will be introducing a
new SharePoint Accessible Training Program that is designed to help prepare
individuals who live with a print disability for a career as a SharePoint
worker! There will be Demonstrations of the Discover 5O8 software which
increases SharePoint's usability for the blind and print disabled. There
will also be a course curriculum explanation and the Outcome Expectations
will be discussed. All successful training program graduates will receive a
SharePoint Collaboration Specialist Certificate. Find out how your agency
can benefit by sending current employees for training, or by hiring
graduates of this unique training program. The Lunch and Learn info session
will occur on Tuesday, September 23, between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Please
join us at the Knowlogy Training Center located at 818 Connecticut Avenue
North West, 20006.
