Hey Victor, yeah I remember you mentioning that you wanted to
move. I thought Yasmin had sent you some good info, did none of
that pan out?

Hi guys:
As I wrote earlier, I am hoping to move in March, and March is
already here.
I am looking for an apartment or studio that I can afford since I
don't make much money.
I live in Montgomery County, and I want to stay there. Please let
me
know if anyone has information that would lead me to getting
moving as
soon as possible.
Meanwhile, if anyone needs help with tutoring for braille,
English, or
Assistive Technology, I am available.
My contact phone is: 240-481-7035.

Hello All,
Too many children in grades K-12 are not receiving orientation
and mobility
instruction. Let's change this situation by attending the House
hearing in
the Ways and Means Committee on Thursday February 26 and the
Senate hearing
on March 4. All hearings begin at 1:00 PM. Let me know off
list if you
can
attend and we will provide transportation information.
Maryland's blind
and
visually impaired children are depending on us.

Thanks, Yasmin, for sharing that. My mother is in a lot of pain
right
now.
I am happy that cars have seatbelts and that they were wearing
theirs;
otherwise, I would be praying a different prayer this week.
My mother is of course priceless, but she is worth about $60
worth of
baked
goods to the Federation every year.
Thanks for your concern.

Hi Everyone,
Debbie is not going to share this but I will.
On Sunday Feb 15 Debbie's mom and her sister were in a car
accident. It
happened in WV. No need to worry as the two ladies are fine with
a few
broken ribs.
Debbie's mom had a surgery and broken arm and ankle.
For many of us who have known Debbie's mom, she has helped us
out for our
bake sales. We should keep the two ladies in our thoughts and
prayers.
