[Md-sligo] Chapter events

  Thanks to all of you who came to the Louis Braille celebration.  It was good to see everyone talking to people and showing how blind people do ordinary activities.  It was yasmin's idea, and even though we had a small group, we had a good opportunity to meet people.  It was good to meet aisha's teacher.

  Our chapter meeting is Saturday, January 10, at the Long Branch Library, 8800 Garland Avenue.  As part of the meeting, we will remember pauline Johnson.  We will have an opportunity to share memories of her.

  Our day in Annapolis will be Thursday, January 22.  Please let me know if you can make it by Saturday so that we can have the proper number of drivers. We will leave from Glenmont at 7:00 and New Carrollton at 7:15.  We will all return to New Carrollton at 8:00 p.m.  

  We will try to do our capitol Hill appointments on Tuesday, January 27.  On that day, there will be a celebration of the NFB's 75th anniversary in the Rayburn Building at 3:00.
