Volunteers Needed for National ADA Festival
"Festival ADA: 25 Years of Disability Rights"
July 24 - 26, 2015
National Museum of American History
The festival, sponsored by the Smithsonian Institution Accessibility Program and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, needs volunteers to help with a variety of duties:
*         Assist with stages and audio-visual equipment distribution
*         Provide visitor information, directions, and verbal description
*         Facilitate activities
*         Assist presenters and speakers
*         Site clean up
Volunteers will be required to attend a two-hour training prior to the festival and volunteer for a minimum of two shifts (seven hours).
