This is to apologize for not going to the last two monthly meetings, I am so
sorry but I happened to be out of town both  times. I am now ready for the
next meetings and events  is there still tickets and candy available? when
is the next time I could get some?

The chapter meeting this week will be at the Whiteoak Library, 11701 New
Hampshire Avenue.  

 

We have raffle tickets left,, which we sell for $5.  Numbers are drawn
throughout the month of May.  You win $50 if your number is drawn on a
weekday or Sunday and $100 if it is drawn on Saturday.  

 

We still have candy left over.  We have plain milk chocolate and dark
chocolate with almonds, which sell for $2, with 24 to a case, and peanut
brittle, which sells for $1.50 a bar and comes in a case of 36.

 

I have 9 seats left on the flight for convention.  If you would like to be
on it, please bring $50 for a down payment.  These seats are going fast, and
I don't want you to miss out.  

 

Thanks to those who have gone or volonteered to go (and got snowed out) to
Annapolis.  Also, thanks to those who have been writing letters and making
phone calls.  The legislators' offices I have talked to today say they are
getting a lot of phone calls about the library.  There will be a hearing on
the BISM bill on Monday, March 16.  Please let me know if anyone can go.
