Adaptive Technology Training will continue at the Center for Accessibility in December even though we are done with the regular JAWS curriculum, with a Wednesday and Thursday drop-in clinic. Patrick Timony and Andrew Tompkins will be available in room 215 on Wednesdays and Thursdays to answer questions and help people one on one as much as possible. We can answer questions about JAWS, VoiceOver for iOs, Victor Stream, VoiceOver for Mac, a little about Android and other topics as they come up. We prefer that if you have beginning level questions you come in closer to the morning and if you have advanced level questions you come in closer to the afternoon. The schedule is below. Andrew is an expert level voiceover user who knows OSX and Garageband and just graduated from Shenandoah Conservatory with a degree in Jazz Studies. He will be teaching Garageband classes from 2 to 3:15pm on both days. Please contact us to reserve a space or just show up on a first come first served basis.
Wednessdays and Thursdays, December 2nd and 3rd, 9th and 10th and 16th and 17th

11:30am to 12:45pm JAWS questions
2pm to 3:15pm Garageband classes and all other questions: iOs, Android, Victor Stream, Mac

People in our community have started projects and businesses around accessibility-related issues such as inclusive design; life skills, orientation and mobility, and computer support; assistive technology training; accessible media; and research and development.
