[Md-sligo] Long Branch Unity Day

Hi Everyone,
The Long Branch Unity Day is a community event to share our diverse heritage. The Community center is located near the Long Branch Library, where our chapter meetings are held most of the year.
The address of the center is
8700 Piney Branch RD Silver Spring.
The hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
As we conduct our meetings just a block away from the center, it is fitting to meet the people of this community. We may find some new membersin this community.
Judy and I will be going and hope that some others can join us. We can be a little late or leave early, if the weather is not to our liking.
Yes, it is our meet the blind month in May. We have more outreach activities scheduled for the coming weekends.

I am looking for someone who can hand out literature and introduce people to the NFB at Unity Day at the Long Branch Community Center on Saturday, May 7, from 10 to 4.  The weather is supposed to be awful on Saturday, and I don't know if there are indoor plans, but I will let you know.  I am unable to do it.

May is the other meet the blind month.
