The chapter meeting this Saturday will be at the Whiteoak Library, 11701 New Hampshire Avenue, at 10:30 in the morning.  Unfortunately, the people from Metro will be here next month and not this month as I said before.

We will have $5 raffle tickets.  These will be drawn through the month of May.  If your number is drawn on a weekday or Sunday, you win $50; if it is drawn on a Saturday, you win $100.  Please let me know how many you want.

We also have candy bars to sell.  We have plain milk chocolate bars for $2, dark chocolate almond bars for $2, and peanut brittle for $1.50.  The bars come 24 to a box and the peanut brittle is 36 to a box.  Let us know how much you want, because we don't want to bring the whole supply at once.

Thanks to Judy for testifying in Annapolis and for Tom and Lloyd for going to hearings.

I am closing with a piece of good news about one of our chapter members.  Geoffrey Rono has got a job in Kentucky and has already gone down there.  We missed our chance to take him to dinner, but nthe chapter can still get him a present.
