[Md-sligo] Chapter meeting and other news

This month's chapter meeting will be at our regular 1:30 time at the Long
Branch Library, 8800 Garland Avenue.  We will have regular chapter meetings
through November at the Long Branch Library.  Two will be on the third
Saturday, so I am giving the list of dates of future meetings below.

 

May 13

June 10

July 8

September 16

October 14

November 18

 

We will be voting on a chapter constitution on Saturday.  We will read it at
the meeting, and it will be sent out in a future email.

 

We will be having elections in June.  Please pay your $4 dues if you have
not already done so.  

 

For those going to the convention, preregistration is due by May 31.
Registration is $25; the banquet ticket is $60.  

 

A group flight is available.  We will leave on Sunday afternoon, July 9, and
return on Sunday afternoon, July 16.  Tickets are $329, but because it is
Southwest, you do not have to pay for bags.  We will be leaving Reagan
national Airport on July 9 at 3:05 p.m. and arrive in Orlando at 5:25 p.m.
On Sunday, July 16, we will leave Orlando at 1:35 p.m. and arrive at Reagan
national Airport  at 3:50 p.m.  If you would like to be on this flight,
please bring at least $50 for your deposit.  If you are writing a check, it
is payable to me, Deborah Brown.
