[Md-sligo] Nuts Are In The House Again

Hi all,
I want to remind you all not to forget to bring door prizes to the
convention. Each chapter is responsible for donating 10 prizes. I have some
gift cards already. If we have more than 10, it is perfectly fine. I also
want to ask if any of you are willing to help with the carnival on Friday
evening. We need to have people work shifts at various game tables. I will
tell you where I need help when I know who is willing to volunteer. The
carnival is from 8:30 to 11:30. I know Sligo will come through!

Our fall nuts have arrived and the 22 boxes are labeled.
Because Jeppi's packing machine was unavailable, these are in very
well-sealed Zip-loc-type bags. I don't think that there will be any question
as to the integrity of these nuts.
Attached is this season's order form. All bags are 8-ounce. There are 11
types of nuts and/or fruit, the same ones we have had from Jeppi for at
least a couple of years. The order form says "butter-toasted" peanuts for
what we have been calling "toffee peanuts". It's the same thing--peanuts
that are nicely sugar-coated.
This is the 38th annual nut sale for the Sligo Creek Chapter; the first one
was in 1980.
