Hi all,

Later this month we are going back to Saturday morning goalball practices, but we have a couple more afternoon and evening practices coming up first, as follows:

This Saturday, March 3, from 1-4 PM at the Jewish Community Center at 1529 16th St. NW (entrance is on Q Street, gym is downstairs)

Thursday, March 8, from 6-8:30 PM at Columbia Heights Community Center at 1480 Girard St. NW (gym is upstairs)

Also, good news for those of you who have been waiting for yoga to return! We have made arrangements with a new studio called Bluebird Sky in the Brookland area, and our first class there will be on Sunday, April 8 at 3:15 PM. More details to follow in the next newsletter, but please save the date!

Last but not least, here is some information about the opening night celebration for the Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind’s Beyond Sight art exhibit, which will take place on Wednesday, March 14 at Busboys and Poets:

Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind’s Beyond Sight is an art exhibition showcasing the creative capabilities of local artists who are visually impaired. Our hope is that this project will inspire viewers and dismantle the common belief that vision plays a crucial role in the creation of ‘visual art’.
