If any vegetarians are coming to the scholarship dinner, I need to know at least a week in advance.  We will have vegetarian entrees but only for those who sign up ahead of time.

BISM has a grant to provide service to seniors in Prince Georges County.  You must be at least 50 years old to participate in the program.  You do not need to be a DORS client.  The introductory meeting will be Friday, March 23, at the Vista Shopping Center in Bowie.  Please contct Michelle Clark at 301-583-8585 if you are interested.

The board meeting on Saturday, March 24, will be at the Advent Funeral Home community room, 9013 Annapolis Road, Lanham.  Come to the rear entrance.  The meeting begins at 9:30 and the cost for lunch is $15.  The board meeting will probably be over at 1:00, and the national harbor Chapterr meteing, which will follow, will be over at about 3:00.

The H.O.P.E. Ministries organization is having a farewell conference call for Dean Stonecipher.  Dean used to work for the Columbia Lighthouse, but he participated in activities for blind people in his off hours as well, which is quite uncommon for sighted people in the blindness profession.  The call is from 6:00 to 8:00 tonight.  The number is 712-775-7035.  The access code is 168598, followed by the pound sign.
