[Md-sligo] World of Montgomery Festival

I meant to send this email out earlier in the week. Attached is a photo of the Sligo Creek members who marched in the parade at this year’s World of Montgomery Festival. The photo shows (from left to right) Ezra, Matilda, Ben, Debbie, Yasmin, and Abdulahi standing in front of a crowd holding a banner for the National Federation of the Blind of Maryland. The volunteers who were supposed to help us at the event never showed up, so we took matters into our hands. We found the parade, lined up, and marched around while singing NFB songs.
