The chapter meeting will be this Saturday, February 9, at 1:30 at the Long
Branch Library, 8800 Garland Avenue.  

If anyone wants a specific 3-digit number for the NFB of Maryland spring
raffle, please let me know right away.  You must pay your $5 when you
request a number.  Other tickets will be available later and need not be
paid for yet.  

Bidding for Opportunity, our annual dinner and auction for the NFB of
Maryland scholarship fund, will be held on Saturday, April 6, at the
Morningside VFW, which is where we had it last year.  We will have tickets
this year.  Please let me know how many you think you can sell.  

We will need to have a discussion about a spring fundraiser for the chapter.
Sees has changed their offerings, and we need to decide if we want to sell
what they have or use another company.  

WMATA is proposing changes to the fare structure.  This will affect
MetroAccess users as well because MetroAccess fares are two times the cost
of bus or rail fares.  The changes are not technically a fare increase, but
they will result in greater costs for some people.  I will send information
about it in an email to follow this one.

There are still nuts available.  We have pistachios, Baltimore bar mix,
butter toffee peanuts, and a few bags of Jeppi #82 mix.

I will be doing a group flight for the convention.  We will be leaving from
BWI this year because there was a fare difference of more than $100.
Tickets will be $409.  You must pay me $50 to get your name on the list.
