[Md-sligo] Chapter meeting and upcoming events

The chapter meeting this Saturday will be at the Whiteoak Library, 11701 New
Hampshire Avenue.

We will have a guest speker from Montgomery County Ride-On bus service.  We
will talk about current bus service and future developments.

I have Jernigan tickets for sale.  They cost $10 each, and the prize is next
year's convention expenses.  If you want some, please bring your money on
Saturday.

I am looking for people to work at the Gaithersburg Book Festival next
Saturday, May 18.  We will be playing games and demonstrating braille.  We
need at least 4 people.

I will be having a pizza and games party at my house on Monday, May 27, from
3:00 to 7:00.  Please let me know if you are coming, because my house does
have its limits.

The candy is almost gone.  We have some mint meltaways and dark chocolate
bars left.  Please bring your money because we will need to allocate money
for the convention and for the state affiliate next month.

Please make plans to be at the June meeting to receive your medallion.  We
will have a nice welcoming ceremony, and you will have a chance to remember
why you joined the National Federation of the Blind all over again.  We will
also be electing officers at that meeting.
