Subject: Reminder: NFB National Convention Orientation for Marylanders -
Tonight at 8:00PM
All,
This is a reminder that the National Federation of the Blind of Maryland
will once again be hosting an NFB National Convention Orientation for
Marylanders tonight, Thursday, July 9, 2020 starting at 8:00PM. All
Marylanders who are attending an NFB national convention for the first time
and/or attending a virtual NFB national convention for the first time are
welcome. We will be discussing what to expect, Maryland-specific events and
activities, and mentoring and getting assistance during the convention. We
will also walk through how to connect to the Convention, how to enroll in
voting, and how to access the Exhibit Hall and Presidential Suite. Finally,
we will walk through the agenda so participants can learn about the myriad
of activities and sessions that are available.

The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland knows that blindness is not
the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
