Sorry I won't be with you guys on Saturday, as I have to attend the funeral
of my cousin-in-law in Washington DC that day. Meanwhile, I hope to join
you in April. Have a successful meeting!

Fred.

Fred.

Subject: [MD-Sligo] Saturday's meeting

We will be meeting on Saturday at the White Oak Library, 11701 New Hampshire
Avenue. My thinking is for most of us, it is safe to meet in a meeting
where we know each other and are not interacting with hundreds of strangers
in a tight space. That meeting room is pretty big, and we can sit as close
or as far as we choose from each other. There is a sink in the room. I
will bring soap, which we don't normally have in the meeting room.

We have a lot happening. We have a scholarship dinner coming up on
Saturday, April 4, so I want to know who is coming and bringing friends.
This is a gathering of 80-100 people in a nice-sized room, so I think we
should all come and not be afraid to be there.

Queen is paying for a table of 8, on faith that she wil gather her friends
to come.

We would also like to know about auction items you will be bringing.

We still have some nuts (Jeppi 82 mix and almonds) and candy. Please let me
or Lloyd know if you want either one.

Here is the breakdown of the candy.

Mint Meltaways (World's Finest Chocolate): box of 30, $60.

Continental (chocolate-covered) almonds (World's Finest Chocolate): box of
30, $60.

Peanut Brittle bars (Sees): box of 8, $16.

Milk chocolate bars (Sees): box of 24, $60.

Dark chocolate bars (Sees): box of 24, $60.

We will be bringing raffle tickets, which many of you have ordered, but we
have some left. These sell for $10. Note that this is double the money but
double the chance of winning, because you may win in May or June. I have
special tickets for Terry and Queen because they ordered specific numbers.

Finally, I want to mention that we have a special guest, Matt Barkley, who
is the Montgomery County ADA compliance officer. I have met him, and so far
I am impressed.

Debbie
