[MD-Sligo] Zoom Test Information

I did an experimental call to the Zoom app running on my iPhone. It turns out that, if you manually enter the meeting ID into the app on an iPhone or a computer, you will need to use the alphanumeric string for a password. Currently this is sV77bM . If you can get the hyperlink into your phone or PC, the passcode is part of the URL and you don’t have to type it.
The numeric string shown lower on the page, which is currently 922062, will work if you are dialing in through a phone line, whether you use a conventional phone or a cell phone that is running its phone app.
If you have a keyboard connected to your phone, or are running the Zoom app on a PC, the alphanumeric string won’t be much of a problem. So far I don’t know if there is a way anymore to change this to all digits, as was once the case.
In addition, if I leave the settings as I have them now, people checking in will be in a “waiting room” and I have to admit them. This feature can probably be changed.
Will see you all tonight. This is definitely an experiment.

There is a numbered password where the phone numbers are given. I don’t know if that would work on a smartphone.

Hi all,

If Lloyd can change his password, he is going to try and do it. He just has to figure out how. We wanted a password with only numbers, but this is the one zoom assigned to us. We may have to use this one for tonight. There are so many things to learn.

I heard from 5 people that they were interested in trying this new Zoom
number out. You don't all have to come, but you are welcome if you can make
it. Let's try this at 8 PM EDT on Friday, September 4. I don't intend to
keep this going for longer than a half hour, if even that much, but we'll
  see.
It's not clear to me what passcode you use if you are logging in using the
Zoom app on a PC or phone; that's one of the things I hope to determine.
