*Montgomery County Recreation is excited to welcome the 55+ community back
to senior centers for programs, classes, work outs and much more!*Damascus
Senior Center and Holiday Park Senior Center will open their doors for a
grand re-opening on Monday, June 14.  A variety of programs and activities
will be available for pre-registration as will drop-in activities such as
the weight room, library, and pool tables.

North Potomac, Schweinhaut, Wheaton and White Oak Senior Centers will open
one-two days a week. Though Long Branch Senior Center’s re-opening is
delayed a bit, 55+ programming will take place on Tuesday and Thursday
mornings, in the grassy area outside the MCR Long Branch Pool (weather
permitting).

Curbside transportation is available for any resident 55 and older who
resides within the centers’ service area (approximately 3 to 5-mile
radius). Transportation will be offered five days a week for our Holiday
Park and Damascus locations. All other locations will have modified
transportation. Long Branch or Schweinhaut participants may request
transportation to nearby Holiday Park.

Are you at least 60 years old and want to join our onsite lunch program?
Call one of our recreation staff members to apply.  (A spouse of a
qualifying participant, or an adult with a disability, may be eligible.)

Need transportation or want to reserve a lunch at Damascus or Holiday Park?

Want even more summer adventure?  55+ Adult Summer Camps are coming this
July!  “Seniors On-the-Go” one-week camps will take place at White Oak,
