[MD-Sligo] Treasurer's Report, September 2021

Hi Terri,

Thank you so much for your comforting words. Everything you said is true.
Lloyd is in Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. I am relying on people from my
church, my reader, and on one  of Lloyd’s ham radio buddies to take me back
and forth each day. His heart muscle is very weak, and the doctors don’t
really have answers as to how to make his heart stay in a normal rhythm. He
is alert, hasn’t lost his sense of humor, and I am glad I can spend a part
of each day with him.

Judy we are praying for Lloyd, You, family, the doctors and nurses.  We
know that is all in God’s hands.  As Jesus taught in the Lord’s prayer Thy
will be done.  It is not our will but the all mighty God’s will.  Sometimes
this can be difficult when it comes to our loved ones we want everything to
work out.  I’ve been praying really hard for everyone involved.  Especially
Lloyd.  I pray also for comfort and peace for you and Lloyd.  Is he in John
Hopkins in Baltimore or closer?  How are you getting there?

May God Bless you and Lloyd and hold you in the palm of his hand.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for the great treasurer’s report. I know you are going to do a fine
job. Just a brief update on Lloyd. He is still in cardiac ICU at Johns
Hopkins. He is going to have another procedure done this morning. He is
very weak. We need to make lots of decisions in the near future. I
appreciate all the  encouraging news sent to both of us.

It took two trips to the bank, but Shawn, Debbie, and I successfully
changed the authorized signers on the chapter's bank account. So the
treasurer transition has more or less been completed. (Thanks again, Shawn!)



Below is the treasurer's report for September, which covers the period from
June 2 to September 8, 2021.
